Bdeóta Šičéča Dakhódia Éthipi

More information on whether MNP will offer Dakhóta Camp in June 2023 will be provided after Feb 28th.  Please stay tuned.

Children ages 3-6 years old are invited to join us for outdoor exploration led by Dakhóta speaking teachers and supported by Elders fluent in the Dakhóta Language. This outdoor immersion camp will combine language, culture, and play to connect with our earliest learners. Children & adults will spend the vast majority of time outdoors. 

 

Priority enrollment is for Očhéthi Šakówiŋ Oyáte. Non-Native children will be added to our waiting list and enrolled as space allows.

This camp is a collaboration between Dakhóta iápi Okhódakičhiye and Minneapolis Nature Preschool.  Adult/older child language education is offered for families interested.

Snack is provided and outdoor gear is available. 

 

Tuition is $150.  We have 50-90% scholarships for Indigenous families. Please click the "donate" button to pay what you can.
