We had a very open-ended week, focused on our classroom community and simply spending time together. We went on several hikes through Theodore Wirth, and discovered a few "mystery paths" that end up in places we've been before! It was very exciting to feel a sense of familiarity in our school forest and surrounding land.
Oak leaf, Moose, Hedgehog, Mountain, and Arctic Fox write about what we collected on our hike in their journals.
Oak leaf and Arctic Fox work together to carry their heavy bucket of wood chips
Moose, Millipede, and Hedgehog help Alyson with the big work of transferring wood chips to the log area to help keep us safe.
The group discusses how they can work together to move the big stump in the log area. They are looking for worms!
