Our group--the Rainbows!--had such a fun week working with natural materials to create art together. We focused on fine motor skills through practicing with scissors, placing flower petals on contact paper, filling in letters with found materials, and painting! They loved working together on our rainbow stick, mixing colors and sharing paint, adding layers and layers and layers to the branch we will soon add to the Burrow's new wall. They all requested more painting, so be prepared for more color splotched clothing at pick-up :)
The group works together to paint a branch that we will incorporate into our stick fort "to make it beautiful."
Kingfisher, Mulberry, Juniper, and Lizard practice their scissor skills cutting flowers for their collages in the Anwatin Community Garden.
