This week, the Rainbows spent time exploring a new access point to the pond on Stick Island--we were able to get closer to the clear ice and observe the leaves frozen below the surface. The group loves to find stops along our hikes to just sit together and cut pine needles--which fit our adapting winter schedule of hike-play-hike-play-hike. We also spent time in the Oak Savanna with Teacher Ana's group, taking advantage of the warm weather to draw and dig for mummies.

We're called the Rainbows for a reason!
