Freeze Ice Crystals and Ornaments 

What you will need for this project:

​

  • Water

  • Ice trays, containers, recyclables

  • Nature materials

  • Scissors

  • Liquid water colors or food coloring

  • Yarn

Look for materials you have around your house, such as muffin tins or milk cartons! Cut the top off of the milk carton to make an ice brick mold!

Mix liquid water colors/food coloring into your pitcher of water, add nature materials and yarn.

Let your creations sit outside in freezing temperatures for 24 hours.
