Is it Spring yet?
It must be spring because we have been busy burning our old winter pines in the fire pit! We've also been getting to work, keeping our Welcome Woods safe by marking our metal fence posts with flagging tape. Worms have officially been spotted and dug up, and the search continues to find the right classroom pet before the end of the school year.
Caterpillar, also known as 'Fire Master,' has earned fire tending privileges and has shown tremendous responsibility in his duties! Autumn sits near by digging dirt into a muffin tin; he later found two small worms!
Quail and Autumn test out their "teacher trap."
Mouse, Pumpkin and Ant decorate one of our pet project posters.
Teacher Jill hands Moose a strip of flagging tape. Behind them Acorn has her tape and looks for metal post.
Quail rescues some pines from the kindling pile and makes a crown.
Eagle uses a strip of flagging tape and tries to tie it around our metal fence posts.
Teacher Jill reads the pet posters with Quail and Pumpkin.
