Week Three

It was such a gift to spend time with this class this week. The children taught me their daily routine and were excited to share their outdoor classroom. Our day included big motor skills: pushing the heavy wagon uphill, adding yoga moves to the story stroll I am Enough, and moving like animals in a call and response game, as well as fine motor work: creating clay sculptures, taking imprints of textures in nature, and journaling about our day. We miss Pam and hope she is back soon!

J and L match natural materials the colors in the basket.

A and R work together to cover the wagon with our cargo net.

F balances on a log to reach a new mushroom discovered by M and A.

R was persistent in attempting to create hopscotch to wrap around the whole school.
