Sarah J. is a settler from occupied Lummi, Nooksack and Dakota territories. They are an environmental educator and budding naturalist who has been a youth worker and mentor since 2005. Sarah holds a Master of Arts in Education degree in Natural Science and Environmental Education with a focus on ecopsychology, mental health and accessibility.
They enjoy building nature play spaces with children to engage and explore, climbing trees, wildlife tracking, creating land art and mosaics, singing, hiking, learning/teaching about environmental justice and facilitating camping trips for our families to strengthen our school community.
Sarah Jay is a certified MN Master Naturalist and in the process of becoming a certified Morning Altars Teacher.
