S.J. (they/any) is one of our founding environmental educators at Minneapolis Nature Preschool. They have been working in education as a teacher, youth worker and mentor since 2005. S.J. holds a Master of Arts in Education degree in Natural Science and Environmental Education with a focus on accessibility, mental health and grief work. 

 

They enjoy building nature play spaces with children to engage and explore, climbing trees, wildlife tracking, creating land art and mosaics, singing, hiking, and learning/teaching about environmental justice and activism.

S.J. is a certified Morning Altars Practitioner and MN Master Naturalist.
