Sarah Amado

Creative Specialist

Sarah is a settler from occupied Lummi, Nooksack and Dakota territories. They are an environmental educator who has been a youth advocate and mentor since 2005. Sarah holds a Master of Arts in Education degree in Natural Science and Environmental Education with a focus on ecopsychology and accessibility.


They enjoy building nature play spaces with children to engage and explore, climbing trees, supporting risky play, creating land art and mosaics, singing (very loudly and often), hiking and facilitating camping trips for our families to strengthen our school community.
