Our Philosophy
At Minneapolis Nature Preschool, we nurture resilience, empathy and curiosity, supporting every child's social-emotional well-being through daily adventures in nature. Learning happens in the woods, along the trails and in our outdoor courtyard adjacent to the classroom. Our place-based, nature-centered, emergent curriculum follows the rhythm of the seasons and adapts to what the land, community and children offer each day. We follow the children’s lead, nurturing their questions, discoveries and interests as they unfold, while thoughtfully scaffolding learning experiences to foster growth, confidence, and meaningful connections with the natural world.
