Families may be eligible for scholarship opportunities through CCAP (Child Care Assistance Program) and Think Small Early Learning Scholarships.
Preschool Registration
Minneapolis Nature Preschool offers a half-day program with your choice of morning or afternoon classes. Families can also extend their child’s day by adding our popular Lunch Bunch program.
Morning classes are available in 5-day, 3-day, or 2-day options, while afternoon classes are offered as 4-day or 2-day options.
Our 2025–2026 school year runs from September 2, 2025 to May 29, 2026, following the Minneapolis Public School calendar for holidays and days off.
Tuition
Tuition rates for the 2025–2026 school year were finalized on January 14, 2025. To complete your registration, a $100 registration fee is required. A $175 supply fee per child will also be billed with your first month’s tuition. If your family is seeking tuition assistance for the upcoming school year, we encourage you to apply to CCAP (Child Care Assistance Program) and Think Small Early Learning Scholarships as soon as possible.
As part of our preschool experience, we provide a gear lending library and daily snack for all students.
Families who are not eligible for CCAP or Think Small may also apply for our MNP Scholarship Fund. This fund is reserved for families earning less than 250% of the current Federal Poverty Guidelines or those experiencing special circumstances.

Enrollment Policy
Families are enrolled on an academic year basis. Children must be between the ages of 3 and 5 years old and fully potty trained by September 1. Families should apply by February 28 for priority consideration. Applications received after this date are added to our waiting list.
We welcome families from throughout the metro area. Our organization prioritizes renewing enrollments for current students and siblings. We also prioritize the enrollment of Northside Minneapolis residents, Black and Indigenous children and families of color, as well as LGBTQ2S+ identified families as an action step to ensuring accessible early childhood educational opportunities for communities that have been historically and systemically erased, excluded and forcibly removed from nature spaces.
